In 2013 ADI, the association of Italian Design has organized a competition for the exhibition design of the collection of objects that have been awarded with the Compasso d’Oro. The exhibition should be setted up in a former industrial building in Milan.
We decided to organize the exhibition through transparent big objects/boxes that contain the products and that form micro spaces in which products are divided by themes or typology, a flexible display whose content can change following different curatorial approaches.
These boxes are placed apparently without a precise order in the building’s interior space; the space between theme generates a fluid space in which the visitor is immerged in a sequence of objects, projections and images. An experience though italian design.
